HD Megapixel IR Body CCTV Security Camera
True Day/Night and Super High Resolution
Body cameras have the look of the more conventional security cameras. When they are fitted outside they require CCTV housings to be positioned around them. They are versatile enough to have any type of cs-mount lense fitted to them.
This body cctv security camera benefits from 1.3” Sony Super HAD CCD, Super high resolution, digital Day/Night surveillance and recording or *True Day/Night Options, utilising an infrared motorised filter. There is a choice of low voltage, dual voltage and mains voltage.

*What is meant by True/Day Night options?
Infrared cameras are extremely useful in capturing images of activity at night. However, during the day natural infrared light which occurs in daylight is sufficient to be detected by unfiltered IR cctv cameras and results in a slight colour shift which creates a slightly different image colour to the one you would expect to be a ‘true’ daytime image.
To combat this, an infra-red filter is can be moved into position over the Infrared camera by a motor-unit during the day. This filters the infra-red, creating a truer daytime image colour. When the camera goes into night-time mode, the filter is automatically moved out of the way by the motor – leading to the black and white night vision you may be familiar with. So you get the best of both worlds – a night vision cctv system which has the added benefit of producing superior, truer images during daylight.
