HD Megapixel Infrared Camera
HD Megapixel Infrared Camera
True Day/Night HD-SDI Megapixel Bullet Style IR (Infrared) Cameras
This bullet-style infrared cctv camera is made for day and night use – giving round the clock protection for your premises. This cctv camera benefits from HD quality images, makes use of 30 infrared (IR) LEDs and digital noise reduction. There is no networking required, with broadcast-style transmission over coaxial cable. Weatherproofing to IP66 standards. This digital infrared cctv camera produces 720p or full HD 1080p digital images and has 1.3 Megapixel or 2.0 Megapixel CMOS Image sensors.
Unison Integrated Technology can design, supply and install complete cctv camera systems and solutions for a wide range of business, industrial, public sector and school premises. Contact Unison Integrated Technology Ltd on 0121 544 8470 or email sales@unisoncctv.co.uk

Infrared cameras are extremely useful in capturing images of activity at night. However, during the day natural infrared light which occurs in daylight is sufficient to be detected by unfiltered IR cctv cameras and results in a slight colour shift which creates a slightly different image colour to the one you would expect to be a ‘true’ daytime image.
To combat this, an infra-red filter is can be moved into position over the Infrared camera by a motor-unit during the day. This filters the infra-red, creating a truer daytime image colour. When the camera goes into night-time mode, the filter is automatically moved out of the way by the motor – leading to the black and white night vision you may be familiar with. So you get the best of both worlds – a night vision cctv system which has the added benefit of producing superior, truer images during daylight.
